On 11 September 2015, the SEM Committee published a decision paper on Energy Trading Arrangements under the I-SEM (SEM-15-065). This decision paper provided for the establishment of a Meter Data Working Group, to assess the requirements that I-SEM will have on the Meter Data Providers (NIE Networks and SONI in Northern Ireland, and EirGrid and ESB Networks in Ireland), and give effect to those requirements.
Arising from the Meter Data Working Group, the SEM Committee are today, 15th December 2016, publishing two documents, drafted by the Meter Data Providers, clarifying their roles and responsibilities under I-SEM.
