The SEM Committee is today, 2nd May 2024, publishing a decision (SEM-24-037) on Early Delivery Incentives (EDI) following the conclusion, on the 15th April 2024, of the consultation period on a proposal to introduce Early Delivery Incentives to the CRM (SEM-24-024) ahead of the T-4 2028/29 auction.
During the consultation period eight responses were received from market participants and, following reflection on the same, the SEM Committee has decided to progress with the introduction of EDIs and details in the present decision paper the design decisions made.
