Capacity Market Code Further Consideration of Modification CMC_07_20 - Consultation Paper
On 18 September 2020, the RAs published the Capacity Market Code Working Group 12 CMC_09_19, CMC_07_20 and CMC_08_20 Decision Paper (SEM-20-064) which set out the SEM Committee decision to undertake further consideration of the following proposal:
- CMC_07_20 - Change in Technology Class for Awarded New Capacity
This aim of this modification proposal was to allow for a change in Technology Class associated with Awarded New Capacity, where such a change has been accompanied by a new or modified connection agreement that reflects the change.
In the decision paper the SEM Committee decided this proposal was to be further considered once an amended version of the proposal was produced that took account of a number of aspects that the initial drafting did not address. An updated version of CMC_07_20 has been produced and the RAs will now proceed with the consultation process.
The SEM Committee welcomes views and responses on the proposed modification raised within this consultation paper and request responses to the consultation paper to be sent to both Kevin Lenaghan (Kevin.Lenaghan@uregni.gov.uk) and Kevin Baron (Kevin.Baron@uregni.gov.uk) by 17:00 on Wednesday 25 November 2020.
